Alana is a licensed Esthetician, in both Missouri and Georgia. She graduated in September of '06 from Merrell University of Beauty Arts and Science in Jefferson City, Missouri. Alana graduated as a CIDESCO Diploma' and has over 1200 clock hours of training. She has won 1st place in the Missouri Cosmetology State Competition for Body Art, and 1st and 3rd place in the MakeUp competition. Alana met Mary over 10 years ago, as a nail client, and after many conversations and "little pushes" from Mary, the love and support of her three kids and family, Alana decided to go to school for Esthetics. She loves what she does and has come full circle and now has joined our family at Aesthetics Studio by NailsOnly!
CIDESCO...What does that mean?
The CIDECO Diploma is the World's most prestigious qualification in the field of Asthetics and Beauty Therapy. Since 1957 the CIDESCO qualification has set the standards that have been imitated over the 5 continents of the globe. There are over 200 CIDESCO schools around the world, but only 6 in the United States. The CIDESCO certification program is recognized as the top international designation for the committed skincare professionals. The Diploma' is awarded to candidates who have at least 1200 clock hours of training for a CIDESCO school, passed practical and written examinations, written a graduate Thesis on a subject related to the field of Aesthetics and Beauty Therapy, and have completed at least 600 hours salon experience.
