Natural Collagen - Renewal Treatment

Wrinkle Diminishing Skin Needling Therapy...is a sophisticated technique which promotes the bodies natural production of collagen and melanin (pigment producing cells) is a less expensive alternative to laser resurfacing! This technique preserves the integrity of the skin as it stimulates collagen deposition in the dermis and thickens it, creating a smoother complexion. It also greatly improves wrinkles, skin texture and tightness scarring (acne, chicken pox, surgical, old fibrous and depressed scars) stretch marks, large pores and sun damage. Skin Needling does not inject anything into the body. There is no pigment involved in Skin Needling you are not getting a tattoo. This procedure stimulates the bodies own natural electrical responses. These signals induce your bodies own natural human growth factor (PDGF), to transform into growth factor (TGF beta) causing it to fill the valleys' of the wrinkles with collagen fibers, leaving the skin smoother and younger looking.

Needling is safe with stringent cross-contamination standards, and because nothing is injected, allergic reactions and side-effects are non-existent.

This exciting cosmetic treatment offers a wonderful all natural rejuvenation alternative to invasive procedures like Ablative or Fraxel laser resurfacing, deep chemical peels and dermabrasion which literally involves burning or removing the superficial layer of the skin, resulting in redness, swelling, discomfort and down time (recovery or healing) of 4 to 6 weeks. Many clients find this recovery time unsatisfactory and a gross infringement to their lifestyle, despite the treatment giving outstanding results.

No down time is essentially the results of Natural Collagen Renewal Treatment, since it is a NON ABLATIVE procedure it makes the healing time rapid. In as soon as 48 hours most clients can apply makeup. The skin reddens and swells immediately after the treatment, but by day 4 or 5 the skin returns to a moderate pink flush, which is easily covered. There is no sun sensitivity to this treatment. A 30 SPF daily application is always recommended.

The skin is first cleansed and prepped and then anesthetized with a topical anesthetic. Once the skin is numbed, a needling instrument abrades the wrinkled area. This technique is effective because the needle breaks up the old collagen strands that are tethering the indented wrinkle. The minimal needle thrust creates collagen immediately under the epidermis. The needle only penetrates the epidermis and does not remove it, allowing it to heal rapidly. The procedure stimulates the upper area of the skin, sending blood to the area, thus promoting the remarkable healing responses of the body.

Results are not instantaneous, however collagen and elastin will continuously build below the surface of the skin and will gradually tighten up continuing for months. After six to nine months you will have achieved maximum results. Results vary between clients, with some achieving 90% improvement in scarring and others less than 50%. However, all clients achieved some improvements. Improvement of the smoothed skin can last up to 7 years.

One treatment is not typically enough. For maximum benefits the process should be done 3 times, every 2 months during the 6 month treatment period. This treatment should not be repeated until the epidermis has completely healed. A complete cycle of healing usually occurs within one month, but it is better to wait 6 to 8 weeks before repeating the treatment.
