Mary began doing acrylic nails in 1982 & has won multiple national Nail Art Awards and is frequently featured in the top trade magazines (Nails Magazine & Nail Pro Magazine). Mary is a licensed instructor and technician in nails and permanent cosmetics and former head of nail curriculum for a seven school chain in Illinois. Mary enjoys refining nail training and is particularly proud of her advances in sculpting acrylic, featuring power brushes and power finishing tools which she has passed on to her former students and current employees. As an award-winning artist and former Hollywood Studio Make-up artist, Mary is also proud to offer micro pigmentation applied permanent cosmetics and airbrush makeup for special occasions as well as at home use. Ming Hsieh has been with Aesthetic Studio by Nailsonly! for 6 years as a nail technician. She was legal secretary in early 2002 when she found Nailsonly! and became addicted to their services including sculpted acrylic nails, pedicures and permanent cosmetics. Some soul-searching and frequent hints to Mary Piper that she wanted to become a nail technician resulted in them hiring her a year later as a receptionist while she finished cosmetology school. After Ming received her Manicurist License, she was hired as a nail technician by Nailsonly! and continued her nail education under the guidance of Mary and Kyle Piper. A quick study, Ming was fully trained after three months in the specialized techniques of Nailsonly! and had also built the foundation of her clientele. While sculpted acrylic nails are her most sought after service, airbrush body sculpting has been increasingly popular with her clients. She is grateful to have found a profession that allows her to do what she loves most -working with people. |

Alana is a licensed Esthetician, in both Missouri and Georgia. She graduated in September of '06 from Merrell University of Beauty Arts and Science in Jefferson City, Missouri. Alana graduated as a CIDESCO Diploma' and has over 1200 clock hours of training. She has won 1st place in the Missouri Cosmetology State Competition for Body Art, and 1st and 3rd place in the MakeUp competition. Alana met Mary over 10 years ago, as a nail client, and after many conversations and "little pushes" from Mary, the love and support of her three kids and family, Alana decided to go to school for Esthetics. She loves what she does and has come full circle and now has joined our family at Aesthetics Studio by NailsOnly!

The CIDECO Diploma is the World's most prestigious qualification in the field of Asthetics and Beauty Therapy. Since 1957 the CIDESCO qualification has set the standards that have been imitated over the 5 continents of the globe. There are over 200 CIDESCO schools around the world, but only 6 in the United States. The CIDESCO certification program is recognized as the top international designation for the committed skincare professionals. The Diploma' is awarded to candidates who have at least 1200 clock hours of training for a CIDESCO school, passed practical and written examinations, written a graduate Thesis on a subject related to the field of Aesthetics and Beauty Therapy, and have completed at least 600 hours salon experience. Annalise is a licensed nail technician that graduated from Sam Brown's Institute of Cosmetology in July of 2007. A chance meeting between Mary Piper and Annalise's friend at a video store resulted in an immediate interview for Annalise the next day. Nailsonly! was proud to introduce her as their newest nail tech in Fall of 2007 and she trained in Nailsonly! specialized sculpting techniques for the next few months. She enjoys making nails that artistically "stand out from the crowd" and giving pedicures that include a thorough and relaxing foot massage. When she's not at work she spends the majority of her time with her large extended family and playing with her Peek-a-Poo Sebastian. |
