Tattoo Removal

Choosing the right technician to perform your procedure is incredibly important; unfortunately, there are not many regulations in the industry of permanent cosmetics. Mary Piper has worked in the area of permanent cosmetics for more than 8 years and has noticed an increased demand to "fix" poor permanent cosmetic work performed by other technicians. Her specialized training in permanent cosmetics gives her the ability to offer tattoo removal and corrective color camouflage to her clientele.

Although it is possible to have tattoos removed by other methods, such as laser removal and abrasion, she's found that the method she utilizes ends up being more natural looking, and less costly in the long run.  If you have had poor work done to your eyes or lips and would like it corrected, please contact us. For example; if done inappropriately, eyeliner can be too thick, or eyebrow color or lip color can change to blue or purple.

Through her years of artistry, she truly understands color, which is a MUST when trying to correct others' poor techniques. When tattoo artists apply pigment to your skin, the method they use is referred to as “stacking”.  The color is “stacked” deep into the tissue from the deeper layers up to the top layers of skin. When a laser or abrasive method is used, all of these layers must be “hit”.

When removing a tattoo or doing corrective procedures, Mary utilizes her skills in micro-pigmentation.  She is able to inject down into these layers, and draw out the colored pieces of ink deep in your skin. As she is removing the tattoo, you can actually SEE the small pieces of it come out! Usually, it takes a few sessions to completely finish the corrective process. If it is corrective work done on the face, it normally takes three sessions. Larger tattoos often take more sessions to fully remove.

If all of the color is not able to be removed completely, she can use natural flesh colors to pigment the skin on top of the unremovable ink; so that in the end, only your own skin color is apparent.
